Sissy Büscher is a seasoned People & Culture leader with over a decade of international experience in human resources, talent development, and organizational transformation. Currently serving as the Global Director of People and Culture at Fotografiska, she plays a key role in shaping inclusive, values-driven workplaces where people can thrive and grow.

Sissy holds a Master of Science in Work and Organizational Psychology from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Groningen. Her career spans leading roles at globally recognized brands including Nike, Zalando and IKEA where she has led initiatives across leadership development, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, and cultural change.

Known for her strategic mindset and empathetic leadership style, Sissy is passionate about building future-ready organizations that balance business performance with people empowerment. She specializes in designing scalable talent strategies, fostering leadership at all levels, and aligning company culture with sustainable growth.

Beyond her corporate role, Sissy is actively engaged in volunteer work—particularly in the fields of sports and social impact—and brings a global perspective shaped by her experience living, working, and studying across Europe. Her private life is all about running marathons, playing tennis, taking care of her two year old dog Malou and traveling the world internationally as well as nationally in her camper van.
