To support the delivery of our cultural programming, we are looking for a Working Student for our Programming & Event Production to join our team in Berlin.
Your Role
As a Working Student within the area of Programming & Event Production, you will support the planning and delivery of cultural programs and events at Fotografiska Berlin. You will work closely with the programming team to ensure smooth coordination and an excellent experience for artists, speakers, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of cultural programs and events, including logistics, setup, and teardown
Assist with physical event setup and breakdown, including moving and arranging chairs, tables, and other event furniture
Manage guest check-in and guest lists, ensuring a welcoming and professional visitor experience
Assist with event signage, wayfinding, and on-site coordination
Provide administrative and project coordination support to the programming team
Help liaise with artists, speakers, and external partners when needed
Support event documentation and internal coordination
Work closely with and report directly to the Cultural Event & Programming Director and Manager
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Is flexible and comfortable working varied hours, including evenings and weekends when required
Is hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Has strong communication and coordination skills
Is passionate about art, culture, and community engagement
Is open-minded, adaptable, and a reliable team player
Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
What You Bring
Currently enrolled at a university (Bachelor’s or Master’s program)
Interest in arts, cultural programming, or event production
A proactive and practical approach to work
Ability to multitask and remain calm in busy event environments
Very good English skills; German is a plus
